Computer Speakers

It's senior year, my speakers died within the first week, and the kid's across the hall are obnoxious. Living in headphones to get work done is ok for a little while but is getting to be a pain. I don't need anything fancy, bass isn't of real importance, just some small desk speakers that'll play good movies and guitars. If color is in question, black seems to be my current computer theme.

Wacom Tablet

Both for school and web projects, I use Photoshop and Illustrator daily. The more intense the graphic work, the crappier a standard mouse is to use. Tablets are like drawing on the computer with a pen in your hand and make it a helluva lot easier. Wacom is the brand to get and probably the Graphire model since it is cheaper (unless anyone can find a cheap Intuos3). The prices change by size of the tablet, but I'm fine with a smaller one.
